vClass is a Learning Management System (LMS) for the Watertown USD, based on an open source project called Moodle. It is designed primarily for an asynchronous, totally online course where there is little or no face-to-face contact. We have developed the Student Center for a more blended LMS. This is the LMS that we are actively supporting in the District and we encourage its use.

The last time we used Moodle, the system was hacked, and all coursework was lost. I cannot guarantee that it will not happen again. However, if you wish to utilize vClass, I will set you up with an account and I will even help you if something goes wrong with it. However, I won't be willing to put significant time into resurrecting the system should be be hacked again.
